Sam Stovall
Chief Investment Strategist, Standard & Poor's

At Standard & Poor's (S&P), Sam serves as analyst, publisher and communicator of S&P's outlooks for the economy, market, sectors and stocks. He is also author of The Standard & Poor's Guide to Sector Investing and "Stovall's Sector Watch," a businessweek.com page that identifies sector top-outs and turnarounds.

Prior to joining S&P in April 1989, Sam served as editor in chief at Argus Research, a New York-based independent investment research firm. He is a certified financial planner.

Matthew T. Moran
Vice President, Business Development, Chicago Board Options Exchange

Mr. Moran is responsible for many of the exchange's marketing and educational efforts for pension funds, mutual funds, and other institutional investors.

He had a leadership role in developing and marketing the CBOE S&P 500 BuyWrite Index (BXM), which received the Most Innovative Benchmark Index award at the Super Bowl of Indexing Conference, and which led to the award of "Exchange of the Year, North America" by Structured Products magazine in 2006.

Mr. Moran also has served as Trust Counsel at Harris Bank and as Vice President at Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He is an Associate Editor of The Journal of Trading and is on the advisory boards of the Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst Association (CAIA) and The Journal of Indexes. He also serves on the steering committees for the Futures Industry Association Expo and QWAFAFEW-Chicago.

He is a licensed attorney-at-law who has received M.B.A. and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Illinois.
